The Midwest Princess Project celebrates its first year with a two-night charity event at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. Chappell Roan founded the Midwest Princess Project in 2025 to support transgender youth and LGBTQ+ communities, and the Super Graphic Spectacular marks its first anniversary. The nonprofit raised approximately $800,000 in its first year, with all net proceeds from the event supporting the project's next phase of work. The fundraiser supports more than 60 organizations working with LGBTQ+ communities.

Star-studded queer performance lineup

The event featured a diverse lineup of LGBTQ+ artists across two nights at the Shrine Auditorium, a venue at least 10 times smaller than the crowds Chappell Roan usually plays to. The lineup included drag acts, burlesque performers, and guest singers. Blaine Petrovia opened one night with a pole dance in a slutty circus routine. Scheduled performers for the two nights included:

Amanda LeporeOctober 21

Kyra JetéOctober 21
Caroline PolachekOctober 22
Alisa MaeOctober 22

Lola Young performed three songs, closing with 'Messy'. Tinashe performed two songs, including 'Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore', which the audience largely ignored. The event's surprise was Christina Aguilera, who appeared in black lingerie and sang 'Beautiful' with Roan watching in disbelief. Roan and Aguilera later duetted on 'Coffee', with Roan forgetting her words before regaining composure. Roan became nervous during her own set, taking swigs from her lilac Stanley cup. Her hour-and-a-half performance included hits like 'Femininomenon', 'Casual', and 'Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl'. She closed with 'Hot To Go!' and 'Pink Pony Club', with pink confetti bursting overhead. Restrooms were designated as non-binary for the event, as announced by a security attendant.

Community-focused celebration with diverse programming

Beyond the main stage, the Super Graphic Spectacular was designed as a broad celebration of queer culture. The event included live music, comedy, and drag performances alongside community activities. The Super Graphic Block Party expanded the festivities with drag performances, DJ sets, local artists and vendors, food trucks, themed photo opportunities, and a costume contest. The fundraiser builds on the popularity of Roan's recent hits 'Good Luck, Babe!' and 'HOT TO GO!'. Comedian Caleb Hearon commented on the inclusive atmosphere, saying, "Why's a man here? It feels like Chappell doing Make-A-Wish."

The fundraiser continues with its second night on October 22 at the Shrine Auditorium.
