Phone calls from my three year old niece Koah who calls to tell me she loves me. My gut instinct. Watching the sun set from my fire escape. My gag­gle of friends.

OTHERWISE OBSCURED FACT: “I was a timid girl when I was a kid– really afraid of every­thing. Now I really like the pain of tattoos.”
