Simplistic. Sensible. Skillful.
Christian Schmidt, the creator behind The Paper Mountain, is a local art teacher who has worked with various organizations throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
“I created The Paper Mountain because I wanted to tell a grand story in one epic adventure that takes place up one side of the mountain and down the other.” –Christian Schmidt, April 2009
Schmidt likes to use paper because it can be found everywhere – school papers, junk mail, newspapers, and even grocery bags.
This creatively green work of art is currently on exhibit at Cincinnati’s CAC in their UnMuseum on the 6th floor. Admission is free on Mondays. Have a gander, we love it.
